While we no longer offer a breakfast option at the Swiss Hotel, we are delighted to provide our guests with complimentary espresso-based coffee, hot chocolate and tea beverages between 8:00 and 10:00am. You’re welcome to enjoy your beverage in your room, the Lounge by the fireplace in the winter, or our secluded Courtyard Garden in the summer months.

If you’re interested in breakfast, we are just steps away from the Byward Market, with lots of options for you to choose from.

While recommend leaving the car at home and discovering Ottawa’s many sights by foot, bike or public transit, there are some parking options available to you. The Swiss Hotel has limited onsite parking, offered on a first come, first served basis, with no in-and-out privileges. Additionally, there is some street parking available on Daly Avenue, as well as several large paid parking lots within the vicinity of our hotel (e.g. Rideau Centre parking garage).

If you’re arriving by car, we also have a loading zone in front of the hotel entrance on Daly Avenue that allows you 15 minutes to unload your car before parking at one of the many locations around us.

From spring through fall, our secluded Courtyard Garden is a wonderful place to relax and hide away from the city’s hustle and bustle. We invite our guests to enjoy one of our many espresso or tea beverages or bring their own bottle of wine to enjoy during their stay at the Swiss Hotel. During the winter season, get cozy in the warm Lounge next to our stone fireplace and piano. This is one of our favourite amenities at the Swiss Hotel!

The Lounge is an ideal meeting space for small groups. The Meeting Room comes with complimentary high speed Wi-­Fi, an HD projector, and refreshments, including coffee, tea, water, juice, muffins and croissants. Guests can make their own catering arrangements for lunch meals. Our meeting room is complete with a gas fireplace, piano and spacious garden patio that provides a unique alternative to the typical business or social function.
